Submission Guidelines
Aljadid Journal for Humanities is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal. All articles are published under the Creative Commons International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction, provided the original source and author are appropriately cited.

• Submitted research must be original, previously unpublished, not under review by any other party, and not taken from prior theses unless developed with prior approval.
• The author bears full responsibility for complying with intellectual property rights. The journal completely absolves itself of any legal liability for any breach of publication laws or violation of literary or scientific rights.

First: Authors and Funding:

• Authors' names must be listed according to their level of scientific contribution to the research, with the major contributor listed first.
• Any financial funding or institutional support obtained to carry out the research must be disclosed.
• If the research is the result of an institutional project or collaboration, or includes shared data, this must be clearly indicated.

Second: Ethics and Scientific Integrity:

• Full adherence to scientific research ethics is required. Practices such as plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, or duplicate publication are considered serious violations that lead to the rejection or retraction of the research.
• The journal uses scientific plagiarism detection software; any research exceeding a 20% similarity index may be rejected without review.
• The editorial team reserves the right to prevent an author from future publications if scientific misconduct is proven, and relevant institutions may be notified.

Third: Research Formatting:

• The research must be formatted according to the journal's approved template available on the official website.
• The research is to be submitted in Microsoft Word format (doc / docx), on A4 size paper.
• The beginning of each paragraph must start with a 1 cm indentation.
• The research must not exceed 25 pages, including text, appendices, and references.

Fourth: Language and Font:

• For research in Arabic:
  • Font: Simplified Arabic
  • Size: 14pt for text, 14pt bold for headings
  • Line spacing: 1.5
• For research in English:
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Size: 12pt for text, 12pt bold for headings
  • Line spacing: 1.5
• The language used must be academic and free of spelling and grammatical errors.

Fifth: Tables and Figures:

• Tables and figures are included within the text, not at the end of the research.
• Each table or figure must be numbered (e.g., Table 1, Figure 2), provided with a clear title, and referred to within the text.
• A 12pt font size must be used inside tables and figures.
• Images must be of high quality and clear when printed.

Sixth: Pagination:

• Page numbers are placed at the bottom center of the page using Times New Roman font, size 12.

Seventh: Research Structure Requirements:
1. Title Page:

• Title: Not exceeding 15 words, bold 16pt font.
• Author(s) name(s): 15pt font.
• Institutional affiliation and email: 12pt font.

2. Abstract:

• Arabic Abstract for Arabic research: On the first page, between 200 and 250 words, followed by 3 to 5 keywords.
• English Abstract for English research: On the first page or after the title, between 200 and 250 words, followed by 3 to 5 keywords.

3. English Abstract for Arabic Research:

• Must contain the full translation of the research title, author's name, and institutional affiliation.
• Keywords must be translated.

4. Main Sections:

• Include theoretical background, research problem, objectives, significance of the study, and research limitations.
• In theoretical or qualitative research, the focus is on presenting the topic, its importance, and theoretical foundations.

5. Methodology:

• Quantitative research: Research design, study sample, measurement tools, procedures.
• Qualitative research: Methodology used, credibility verification methods, and data analysis.

6. Results:

• Present results objectively in alignment with the objectives, questions, or hypotheses.
• Narrative, tables, or graphs are used depending on the study type.

7. Discussion:

• Interpret and analyze the results critically, linking them to theoretical frameworks and previous studies.
• May be combined with results or omitted in theoretical research.

8. Conclusions and Recommendations:

• Summarize the main findings and propose practical recommendations based on the findings.

9. References List:

• The journal follows the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS). It emphasizes the Notes-Bibliography System, which relies primarily on footnotes at the bottom of each page to document sources.
• References are arranged alphabetically, starting with sources in the language of the research, followed by references in other languages. References are not numbered.
• All in-text citations must correspond to the reference list.

Submission Mechanism:

• Research is submitted via the official journal email listed on the website.
• Each submission must include:
  • Statement of Research Originality
  • Conflict of Interest Form
  • Cover Letter
  • Funding Statement (if any)
