يتحمل رئيس التحرير مسؤولية الحفاظ على جودة ومصداقية المجلة، من خلال اختيار محكمين مؤهلين، واتخاذ قرارات تحكيمية موضوعية، والحفاظ على السرية التامة، ومعالجة القضايا الأخلاقية بشكل سريع ومهني. كما يجب عليه تجنب تضارب المصالح وضمان عدالة عملية التحكيم.
يلعب المحكمون دورًا حيويًا في عملية التحكيم العلمي، ويتوقع منهم تقديم تقارير موضوعية وبنّاءة وفي الوقت المحدد، ويجب عليهم التعامل مع البحوث بسرية تامة، والإفصاح عن أي تضارب في المصالح، وإبلاغ رئيس التحرير بأي مخالفات أخلاقية مشتبه بها، ويساهم المحكمون في الحفاظ على جودة البحث العلمي وسمعة المجلة.
يجب على المؤلفين تقديم أعمال أصيلة غير منشورة سابقًا، ويتحملون مسؤولية تقديم عرض دقيق للمنهج والنتائج، وتوثيق جميع المصادر بشكل سليم، والإفصاح عن أي تضارب في المصالح، ويجب أن يكون لكل مؤلف مساهمة جوهرية في العمل، وتُحظر جميع أشكال الانتحال أو التزوير أو التلاعب بالبيانات.
